Field day is Friday. Our class is responsible for bringing chips. I need each child to bring a large bag of chips, any flavor. I would like to have these at school by Monday, May 5th.
On Friday, we will play games outside from 8:30 until 11:00. At 11:00, you may either check your child out for the day, (This will NOT affect attendance.) or you may choose to leave your child at school until 1:00, at which time we will have regular dismissal. Extended care will be available after 1:00.
Students staying after 11:00 should bring a sack lunch.
Please do not leave with your child on Friday unless you tell me. While the students are at school, they are still in my care and expected to behave in the same way we expect on any other school day.
Awards Day will be held at Berea Baptist Church on May 21. We will meet AT the church and begin the presentation at 8:00. Attendance IS taken on Awards Day. Report cards will be given out after the awards have been given out. At the end of the awards presentations, school will be dismissed for the summer. In the event that a student does not attend Awards Day, report cards may be picked up at the FCA office.
