Dear Parents,
UPDATE: Awards Day will be held Friday at Berea Baptist Church. You will need to arrive around 7:30 a.m.-7:45 a.m. It will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. Dress code is chapel dress. The children and I will sit together as a class. I usually am at the front in the first two pews. They will receive their report cards after the program. Please do not leave until I've given those out. We will dismiss afterwards for the summer!
Wow!!! It is hard to believe that 1st grade is winding down. It has been my pleasure and privilege to teach your children. It has been amazing the maturity and growth I've seen with this class. My hope is that a hunger and eagerness to learn has been instilled into their hearts and minds. I pray they will learn to seek God as they grow and allow Him to guide their paths. I can't wait to see what God has in store for these little ones.
I would encourage you to keep your child reading books they are interested in over the summer. Also, pull their Handbook For Reading and go over special sounds periodically.
Thank you for your support and encouragement throughout this year. It means more than you know.
