"How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Thy Word." Psalm 119:9
Dear Parents,
Wow!! How time does fly! I can't believe our journey together through first grade is coming to a close. It has been my priviledge and joy to teach your children. I have learned a lot this year along with my students. This is an incredibly bright class. I anticipate great things from these students. I've grown quite attached to them so it is a bittersweet ending. I know they will thoroughly enjoy second grade and do equally well. I wish you and your child a safe and happy summer.
Field Day 2008 was a success!!! Thank you to Mrs. Sparks who bought are HUGE Scotland flags. Thank you to the Stones who built the HUGE flag displays. Thank you to those parents who really helped coach, encourage, and guide the children during the games. That was a HUGE help with our very competitive class. Thank you to all who brought goodies. I believe the students had a grand time!!
Awards Day will be held at Berea Baptist Church on Lucas Ferry Road on Wednesday, May 21 at 8:00 a.m. Attendance is taken and this is counted as a regular day of school. Report cards are distributed at Awards Day as long as your account in the office is cleared. We will dismiss for the year after awards are given. WE WILL MEET AT THE CHURCH.
Joyfully Serving Him,
Tonya Hilliker
