Dear Parents,
Tuesday, September 2nd the yearbooks went on sale. The cost of the yearbook is $30.00.
Tuesday, October 7th will be the next APT meeting.
Tuesday, October 7th Monday, October 13th will be the Technology Fundraiser.
Thursday, October 16th Friday, October 17th we will take class pictures.
Tuesday, October 28th we will have the Fall Festival from 5-8 p.m.
Friday, October 31st we will have our fall parties at 1:30 p.m.
Please remind your child to bring wide ruled paper, pencils, and erasers to class every day. In addition, children need to pay attention in class. They miss important information when they are not paying attention. When they finish their assignments, they are expected to read until the next assignment begins.
Make-up Work/Classwork Please encourage your child to turn in all make-up work, classwork, and homework. All assignments not turned in at the end of the six weeks will be assigned a grade of a zero. Please help in this matter.
Spelling We are working on the words for A Days Work. We will have our test on Friday.
Reading We are working on A Days Work. Please read this story at home and ask your child questions about it. We will have our test on Thursday this week.
Language We are working on Common and Proper Nouns.
Math We are working on Chapter 5. Please work with your child on learning their multiplication facts.
Social Studies We are working on Chapter 5. We will have our test on Thursday.
Box Top Coupons Please send in your old box top coupons. This is a wonderful way for the school to earn money for technology.
Ink Cartridges If you have old ink cartridges or old cell phones at home, please send them to your childs teacher so that we are able to recycle these to also help purchase new technology items (computers, printers) for our school.
