"A Magical Adventure"
Dear Parents,
It has been a great summer and I am looking forward to an exciting year. I hope your summer brought you some relaxation and fun. The fun will only continue here. This year will bring about great field trips, parties, and art work mixed with a lot of fun learning for all of us. There are a few things I would like you to know about the classroom. Attached are rules, homework assignments, discipline plan etc. for you to look over. I believe communication is very important between you and I. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at school 358-2658. I will return your call soon as possible. My e-mail address at home is kkjordan10460@aol.com
Thank you,
Mrs. Karen Jordan

Homework

Students will be given ample time in class to complete any assignments. If your child does not finish in class then it becomes homework. Each student is responsible for having the completed assignment in class the next day to be given credit. If the work is late points will be taken off.
Weekly Folder
I will send papers home each Tuesday. The folder will include papers and conduct for the week. Please review the papers. Sign and return the folder to school on Wednesday. You may keep the papers at home. However, if you have a question about grades I would suggest you keeping the papers for the entire six week period so that we can refer back to them. I will also be sending home mid-term reports after three weeks each six weeks. This should keep you up to date on your child's progress in each subject area.
Discipline Procedure
I believe that all students have the right to learn and to obtain the best education possible. For there to be a great learning environment the attached discipline plan will be put into practice. Please sign and return.
