Reading- We are reviewing short u words this week and the sight words what, said, and was. We have three new words- because, before, and after. We will take our spring DIBELS assessment on Thursday at 8:10. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and has a good breakfast on testing day. Everyone in our reading class has reached the goal of reading Fry's list of 100 words!!! We will have a party on Friday to celebrate this achievement and our success on DIBELS. The students have worked hard all year and I anticipate great scores.
Math- We are beginning our chapter on subtraction. We will continue to practice addition and subtraction until the end of school. You may practice at home using objects around the house for counters.
Science- We are studying living things, our final AMSTI unit for the year.
