IMPORTANT FAFSA CHANGE
The US Dept. of Education has notified MHS that we will no longer receive bundles of printed FAFSA forms. Students must request a copy sent to their mail address by calling 1-800-433-3243. Allow 3-7 business days for your form to arrive.
Using the on-line form is preferred. It is faster and because of live help, applicants are less likely to make a mistake that slows down the process in back-and-forth "snail mail." The link is at the top of this page.
Mark your calendar and have your questions answered by an authority about filling out the FAFSA form. MHS will host a free Financial Aid workshop on Jan. 29 at 6:30 in the MHS cafeteria. Presenters will be a college financial aid officer and a representative from Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC), which adminsters the Tennessee Lottery scholarship program. The link for information about Tennessee scholarships, including the Hope and other lottery scholarships is at the top of this page.
ALL MALES must register with Selective Service to be
eligible to receive federal or state financial aid, including the Tenn. Lottery scholarships. The link is at the top of this page.
