The state writing exam will be conducted on February 6 for fifth and eighth grades. Fifth grade will be required to create a narrative based on a topic given to them by the state. They will have 35 minutes to plan, write, and revise their work. Eighth grade will be given a topic requiring them to make a choice and support the choice.
