MONDAY--We will be going over our spelling words for the week, and the students will be given a few minutes to put their spelling words in ABC order in cursive.
They should finish this for homework if they didn't finish in class.
We will be reading our story for the week "A Little Excitement". Test on this story is Friday!!!
Vocabulary quiz will be Wednesday on the following words:
absolutely-completely without any doubt
blizzards-heavy snowstorms with strong winds
companions-friends
crackled-made sharp, snapping sounds
fiery-made up of fire
ignited-set or caught on fire
soot-black powder formed from burning wood or fuel
weariness-tiredness
TUESDAY--
We will also tree map the story elements in class on Tuesday.
We will work a worksheet that would be great to study for our vocabulary quiz, and we worked one that summarizes the story.
