Things to Remember:
Sept. 11th: Recital Day- “Falling Star” (This poem is in the reading book)

     This week, September 8 through September 12, Sarah, a mail-order bride, agrees to spend a month with Jacob and his children to decide whether or not to settle into their way of life.  She must make a choice based on what she will miss more -- Maine, or the family she has come to love.  Gradually,she realizes that home is where the heart is.

Reading:
Monday: Listen to story (Sarah, Plain and Tall), complete tree map, complete WB page
HW: Study for vocabulary quiz tomorrow

Tuesday: Voc. Quiz; complete WB pages
HW: Complete story summary
    
Wednesday: Discuss sequencing; complete workbook pages

Make-up Work

Your child will have the number of days absent plus one to turn in make-up work.  However, if your child returns of the day of a regularly scheduled assignment, they are responsible for that assignment.

PE

Your child should come to school dressed for PE.  If they are not, they will not be allowed to change before going to PE. Your child has a schedule in their binder.
