The students are working on a 3D sculpture project made out of plaster of Paris.

Some students are finishing their sculptures. They are watching a video on handbuilding ceramics pots: pinch, coil, and slab pots. The teacher will demonstrate how to make a pinch pot and a coil pot and show examples. Then the students will make a pinch pot.
9/15/08-9/19/08
The students are finishing sculptures and making pinch pots. They are also starting their coil pots.
Ceramics II

The students are working on a "creative" coil pot. They are working on the wheel, also. They are learning how to center the clay on the wheel and how to throw a bowl and a plate.

The students are working on their coil pots, plates, and bowls.
