Theatre II
Welcome to the wonderful world of Theatre!
Theatre II provides the opportunity for students to build on skills learned in Theatre I. This course continues to explore the theatrical process as an art form. Students will concentrate on designing, creating, producing, performing, and critiquing from original and published works.
Everyone should have a small notebook to be used as a journal. I will take these up periodically and grade them. You also need a 3 ring binder for your theatre notebook. THESE ARE TWO SEPARATE NOTEBOOKS!

Students be finishing up the semester with theatre games and reading plays. We will also watch and critique West Side Story and MCHS High School Musical and have a class discussion.

Drama club and Thespian Troupe 5251 are two opportunities for students to be involved with theatre as an extracurricular activity. Drama Club welcomes all students whether you are enrolled in Theatre or not, and the Thespian Troupe has theatrical requirements based on a point system in order to attain membership status.
