This site is maintained to assist students
participating in the United Nations Security Council
simulation. We leave Wed., Feb. 25, 2009, after school, ride the bus to Starkville, and spend the evening at the motel coaching each other. The conference itself is held Thurs., Feb. 26 - Sat., Feb. 28, 2009 in the Student Union at Mississippi State University. Generally it features REAL UN DIPLOMATS as guest speakers!

Download hard copies of country papers, issue papers, and resolution writing information as soon as they are posted.

Current simulated Security Council countries include:
Group A Permanent 5 (veto powers): China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, and United States
Group B - Non-Permanent Members: Belgium, Burkina Faso, Costa Rica, Croatia, Indonesia, Italy, Libya, Panama, South Africa, and Viet Nam.
