Dear Parents,
Thank you to all of you who made it to our Open House and PTO meeting last week! If you have any questions about the information you received, please send me a note, email or call me at school! Thank you for signing up for conference times and Friday treat dates. I will send a reminder when your appointment or day to send snacks is coming up. I still need the handbook agreement form from the back of the student handbook from most of you, so please try to look over our handbook and return this form to me this week!

September 23: Taylor’s Birthday!
This week at school we will:
• Read Peanut Butter and Jelly. We will listen for rhythm and rhyme in the text, and practice sequencing events.
• Learn about words and how they make sentences.
• Focus on letter Pp and its sound.
• Sing, read and write the color words green and orange.
• Learn about shapes based on their attributes (# of sides, etc).
• Sort by color and make a graph.
• Count backwards from 10-1
*HOMEWORK*
• Practice writing your first AND last name (or just your first, if you still need to practice that) and try naming the letters in your name as well. Send me a copy of your writing to school!
• Bring something from home that begins with P to share with your friends on Friday!
