WHEW! We made it through the state test. Results are not expected back until August. Here's a reminder that students who are not successful will be kept after the early release to tutor for the retake of the test.
The nine weeks test for this last term will be a multiple choice test on literary devices, literary elements, organizational structures, and text features. The students have all of these notes in their English binder. If your child lost his or hers, he or she will have to copy the definitions from another student. I do not have any more copies to hand out.
I've enjoyed teaching the kids this year. As a whole, they have been great. Here's to a safe and happy summer for you and your family!
