I am planning to move the compensatory class into heavy grammar soon. They have done well with most of their work. The vocabulary terms must be reviewed daily so they can master the meanings and use. We will work on direct and indirect objects and predicate nomnitives and predicate adjectives this week.
The regular classes are going to have a review over their prefix/suffix/roots. They will test over this later in the week. I hope to have the essays scored by Monday so we can discuss our strengths and weaknesses. We will begin the Tuesday/Thursday themes this week. This is to prepare for the state test. A new grammar unit will begin on Monday and will address sentence parts through objects and nominatives
