Dear Family,
OPEN HOUSE --- THURSDAY, AUGUST 28TH
Please call on me anytime that you have a concern about something that is going on in the classroom. I welcome your visits/phone calls/e-mails/texts/ and notes. Refer to the contact sheet sent home in your child's binder or e-mail me using the link above at this site.
I hope that my lesson plans being on-line will help you assist your child at home with school assignments. Remember our school motto: Learning Takes Three: Parent, Teacher, and Me (student). The purpose for placing my plans on-line is for you to be better informed. Also, I want you to see what goes on in the classroom so you can help carry over the learning in your home. Extra practice concerning our Saxon program for reading can be found by going to http://www.saxonpub.com.
Reading and math homework will be given every night. If the homework schedule changes, I will let you know with a note in the homework notebook. I will also post it on this site. Your child should bring home two items every night: his/her reader and class binder. Please initial the homework form every night telling me that your child read for at least twenty minutes at home.
