Here is hoping that everyone had a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Years. It was nice to have a break from the regular routines but it made it very difficult to get out of bed this morning!
We had a good day today. In religion we began the chapter on prayer. In math we began an introduction to multiplication. Look for a note in the book bags later in the week about how we are going to master the multiplication facts. We also took a look at the new spelling words. They have been added to SpellingCity.com. The test will be NEXT Tuesday.
For homework tonight the children have a math worksheet practicing larger number addition. They were also asked to complete pages 114 and 115 in the spelling book. Some may have a handwriting sheet to finish if they didn’t get it finished in class.
We have Mass tomorrow morning if anyone would like to attend with us.
