In preparing for conferences and caring for sick children at home, I let school notes slip a bit. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
I sent home a permission slip for our class to attend a production of the Wizard of Oz at the library on Monday, November 23rd. We will be attending it with 1st grade. The cost is $3. Please send $3 and your signed permission slip to school by Tuesday, November 10th.
Tomorrow is a free dress down day for those who participated in the FUN RUN this year. FUN RUN participants can show their spirit for the Rosecrans Bishops football team by wearing their Rosecrans gear!
Those who will not be dressing down can still support the Bishops by wearing black and red accessories, such as shoelaces, necklaces, wristbands…!
NEXT WEEK: We will have library on Tuesday since there is no school on Wednesday! Please remember your books.
Second grade is collecting canned soup for the Bishop Fenwick Early Childhood Center's 4th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please send your cans to school.
Remember to send in your mall receipts for "My School Is Cool".
HOMEWORK:
Math: Workbook pages 129-130. Test tomorrow.
Phonics: Worksheet 49 ~ Spelling with the long /e/ sound. Complete back of the worksheet. Our spelling test will be tomorrow.
Reading: All groups have a reading assignment and worksheet to complete.
