5-Min Checks (intro - 1.6 = 7 total "Checks")

CN/Study Guides:

1.1-1.6, 1.8 (7 total "Study Guides")
Students fill out top portion only (name/period)... then place in front of binder...& pass to another student.

Trade and grade (student "grades" another student's binder... as I tell them what to "check" for.)  Place point value earned - next to each item.  Then calculate total.

Return binder/checksheet to student.

Turn in checksheets.

CLASSWORK:

~5-10 minutes time to "wrap up" graph stories in groups.

Pass out Textbook Scavenger Hunt... students work on this while I get paperwork/$/receipts,etc. organized and ready to be turned in.  (Give them ~5 minutes to "Pair Up" to check/discuss)

Pass out Tentative Daily Class Routine Paper... discuss/explain my expectations... add'l notes on Pass Policy and Tardy Policy.

Pass out Ch. 1 Vocabulary Sheet "floating assignment" - no specific due date set yet!  Last few minutes of class... work on Scavenger Hunt and/or Ch. 1 Vocab.

HOMEWORK:  Finish Scavenger Hunt - due tomorrow
