Hello to all of the parents and families of Midview East!
Just wanted to give you some dates on upcoming events in the music department---
November 9th--all 6th grade students will be attending a Veteran's Day program at North starting at 9:30 a.m. Almost half of our 6th grade students from East have volunteered their time to be pat of the Veteran's choir this year for this program. The music teacher at North, Mr. Toth, has planned a wonderful presentation including the High School ROTC and speakers who are in or retired from the military. It is a wonderful way to honor those who have or are serving in our armed services.
3rd graders will be performing at the Old Fashioned Christmas in downtown Grafton again this year. I do not have much more info. at this time, but as soon as I do, I'll contact all 3rd grade parents! It will be on a Friday evening in December.
The 5th and 6th graders are working on the Christmas musical, "Santa Sings the Blues." The 5th graders will perform on Thursday, December 13th. The 6th graders will perform on Friday, December 14th. There will be daytime and evening shows. We also have plans to go to two area retirement communities the following week to spread some good cheer to others!
