                June 11, 2009
Welcome to summer! Enjoy your time away from school.
Hopefully you will turn off the television and make good use of this short and special season to get outside to run, jump and play.
...and when you are worn out from all that fun and need to relax, here are some things you can do to prepare for the next school year...
...keep track of national and international news. Sixth and Seventh graders can do some independant reading on prehistoric people, the Roman Empire or any era of World History. Eighth grade students can dig into United States History. Get some DVD's on the colonial period or the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Go to the library and check out biographies on US Presidents, artist or inventors.
