WELCOME TO THIRD GRADE! An exciting year has been planned for you and your child.
The final spelling test was today. I was very proud of how well third graders did.
REMINDERS: Wednesday: Poetry Tea I look forward to seeeing all of you! Please return reply card Mon.
Friday: Hale Farm packed lunch and drink. Check weather report and dress your child accordingly.
This is the last week for the "Word Wizard Word".The students will be receiving a spelling test list of all 11 words. Next Thursday there will be test over these words. They are to also choose 3 of those words to write the definition and use correctly in a sentence. These directions are on the sheet.
On Fridays the children will have a copy of their spelling words for the next week. The list will remain in their "Homelink" folders to study for the final test on Fridays.
Please check the planner daily and initial AFTER THE HOMEWORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
A weekly report will be sent home on Fridays. I hope you find this useful. Please sign and return this report on Mondays.
