Welcome to second grade. I'm Kathy Bamonte. I've been in second grade for 12 years. ( I never get promoted ( ha ha). I love this age group. I prefer it over all the others I've worked with. This year we will be experiencing our First Reconciliation in December and First Communion in the spring. Please feel free to contact me at any time with concerns or questions. I'm here to assist your child's first teacher (YOU) in assuring that Grade 2 is a wonderful experience for him or her. Homework should NEVER take more than 20 minutes per night. Occasionally, we will have a long-term project that will require a little more time. Please do not stress over schoolwork. It should be fun. Here's hoping we all ENJOY the year. God bless you.
