*8th grade popular music presentations took place from January through March 2nd. This assignment was given December 1st, and presentation dates were assigned on 12/15/08. Due to the advanced notice & the extended amount of class time used for presentations, this grade was worth quite a bit. Thank you for your understanding.
Have fun, and I'll see all of you again in May!!!

Music Grades are determined as follows:
Grades K-2
A combination of following posted classroom rules, class participation and class activities
Grades 3-8
Class participation, following posted classroom rules,
classroom activities, written assignments, and quizzes.
Student Code of Conduct will be followed in class. Please see your handbooks for details.
Classroom rules are as follows:
1. Show respect for yourself and others.
2. Be kind.
3. Do not interrupt.
4. Help one another.
5. Come to class prepared. Bring all work tools and assignments.
Students in gr. 3-8 are required to bring a music folder (not to be shared with another subject) and a pencil or pen to music class (I prefer pencil). Gr. 5-8 are also requested) to bring their planners.
Performing music for an audience is a necessary part of our music classes, and also a GREAT way to share the gift of music with others. For this reason, there will be many performance opportunities this year for our students. Every grade level has a performance of some kind, with the exception of Gr. 2 due to sacramental preparation. You can check our school online calendar for the dates.
