* This week in kindergarten, we completed Theme 4 in our Language Arts series. We concentrated on the letters Mm, Ss, Rr, Tt, Aa, Cc, Pp, Nn, Dd and the sight words my, a, the, I, am, like, go, and we. Each day we practice beginning and ending sounds using these letters and using our sight words in sentences.
* We also completed Chapter 4 in our Math series.
* In social studies and religion, we learned about Pilgrims, Native American Indians and about the first Thanksgiving. We also constructed our "Thankful Tree" and each child listed at least 5 things for which they are thankful!
* Don't forget to return library books each Monday.
Since Kindergarten only has one day of school next week, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving!
