Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the first grade, a new school year, and to our website! Every Monday I will send home a homework packet for the week. Please check for it each Monday. This website is another place you may go to find out about our homework. You will also be able to practice our sight/vocabulary words for the week by clicking on "Flashcards". (The children really like using the flashcards for practice!) Just remember to still check for the homework packet as this may have some important papers which are not on this site. Thanks for using this as another way for us to communicate! Have a great year!

HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEK OF June 1-5
Monday: See homework packet for this week and end of year notes. Today is Beach Day~bring a beach towel and some favorite books. Also Shade out Cancer Day~children will get sunglasses at school to wear. We celebrated Pentecost today with a birthday party for the Church!
Tuesday: We are having chances for the Relay for Life basket raffle available every day at lunch this week~25 cents or 5 for $1.00. We have lots of great baskets to raffle off thanks to all of you!
Today we will shop at our class store with all the "play money" we have earned this year!!
Wednesday: Stuff out Tabacco Day You may bring a stuffed animal today! Ms. Michelle will visit us from the Harrison Library and tell us how to join the summer reading program at the library.
Thursday: Bring a healthy snack for Healthy Snack Day. We will meet with our 7th gr. buddies. Pack an old rag for Friday for clean up day.
Friday: Relay For Life Day You may wear shorts and your balloon t-shirt to school today. We do have Mass, so make sure the shorts are appropriate (not too short). Bring a rag for cleaning our room. See notes sent last week for info. on day. Parents are invited to walk and join the ceremonies on this relay day.
MONDAY JUNE 8 is our last day of school. We will go to Mass. Wear your uniform and bring play clothes to change into after Mass. Any parents that would like may join us after about 11:30 at the Community Center for end of year/summer birthdays. Pack lunch and drink. You may bring outdoor toys to play with. BRING YOUR BACKPACK TO SCHOOL TODAY.
