HOMEWORK and CLASSWORK summary for the week of June 1- 5, 2009
The following assignments are based upon daily student progress and are subject to change.
GRADE 7
Math:
Monday: Review area, and computing angles of regular polygons. Complete WS pg 55-56
Tuesday: Volume and area of three dimensional figures
COmplete WS pg 57-58
Wednesday: Pg 329 # 13-20, pg. 330 # 1-5 Problems
Thursday: We will find the capacity of pyramids and cones. No Homework
Friday: We will be cleaning our classroom(s), returning books, and participating in the Relay for Life
Earth Science:
NO homework this week!!!
This week we will "Experience" a Chapter in the Space Race when we watch the movie "Apollo 13."
On Thursday, we will enjoy launching our pop-bottle rockets with our PALS. They will launch their milk jug rockets and play with the pinwheels which we made for them.
Reading:
We will be practicing summarizing informational articles and works of ficion too.
Homework: Summarize Dinorella, pgs. 758-763, due Thursday.
