Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the first grade, a new school year, and to our website!  Every Monday I will send home a homework packet for the week.  Please check for it each Monday.  This website is another place you may go to find out about our homework.  You will also be able to practice our sight/vocabulary words for the week by clicking on "Flashcards".  ( The children really like using the flashcards for practice.)  Just remember to still check for the homework packet as this may have important papers which are not on this site.
Please make sure to check your child's homework folder every night.  Thanks for all your help from home and with helping your child learn good work habits.  Have a great year in 2009!  As always send a note if you have any questions or concerns.
                           Sincerely,
                           Mrs. Frey
