Welcome to our busiest week yet! It’s hard to believe that Friday is opening night!! The week of a show is commonly called “tech week”, because it is the time where we (hopefully) iron out all the remaining technical aspects of the show. It is also the time where your children are needed here the most, so any absences will be inexcusable. Below you will find a schedule of the weeks events and call times, along with many extra details. Please read completely even if you have the original schedule! We’re looking forward to a GREAT show!
ALL REHEARSALS MAY POSSIBLY RUN OVER TIME THIS WEEK PLEASE BE UNDERSTANDING! THANKS!
Monday 4/27: Act 1 (scenes prologue-scene 12) rehearsal in the gym.
We will be starting promptly at 3:45. Please be on time. We will rehearse in order, and will then review any scenes which need extra work.
Tuesday 4/28: Act 2(scenes 13-20) and Curtain Call rehearsal.
We will follow the same procedure as on Monday, as well as practice the Curtain Call. ALL CAST MEMBERS ARE IN THE CURTAIN CALL!!
Wednesday 4/29:Confirmation…no rehearsal!!! Enjoy the night off!
Thursday 4/17: Dress Rehearsal!! **Reminder about time change**5:30-8:30PM
YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO STAY AFTER SCHOOL! Leave school as usual and return in costume by 5:30PM. Makeup will be applied starting at 5:30. Please do not wander off! We will begin the play at 6:30PM SHARP!!! You will be videotaped for the DVD sale at this performance. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO VIDEOTAPE OR TAKE PICTURES DURING THE ACTUAL PERFORMANCE DUE TO OUR CONTRACT WITH MTI.
Friday 5/1: OPENING NIGHT!!!!!!!!!
Call Time 5:30PM
Parents – PLEASE do not stick around unless you are scheduled to help pre-show! Our hallway will be congested enough as it is. Gym doors will not open until 6:20PM.
