* We have begun Theme 12 in our reading series. Our new words are here, are. The name of the theme is "Under the Ocean".
* Please keep practicing sight words, color words, number words, rhyming, and sounding out simple words.
* Our focus in math is subtraction.
* We are studying all about Mary during May. Please send a flower to school this Friday morning (May 16). We will be celebrating May crowning at Mass that day.
* Friday, May 16th will be the last day to read the take home books to me. I would like all books returned that day. Everyone who returns their book goes to the prize box.
* Please have all lap reading paperwork returned by Monday, May 19th. I need to start tallying how many books your child has read, so that we can have those totals for graduation.
* Thanks to all of you who volunteered to help at Goodwill Games or have chaperoned our field trips!!! We couldn't do it without you and we appreciate your time!
