Report cards will go home with your child tomorrow, Monday, November 2nd. You should know exactly how your child is doing because all of the grades are available online. Conferences are Nov. 4th & 12th. If you would like to come for conferences, please send a note with your child or e-mail me a.s.a.p.
On Wednesday, November 4th your child will take a grammar test which will cover the proper use of:
commas, end marks, apostrophes, quotation marks and capitalization. Your child has known about the test since last week. Your child is working on a personal narrative. A grading rubric and a point listing was given to your child last week. The narrative is due by Monday, November 9th. Any late papers will receive a lowered grade.
Your child's first quarter district reading assessment will be shared at conferences. The results are on Progress Book.
