It was wonderful to meet and talk with many of you during the two nights of conferences. Please remember to check Progress Book for your child's grades and progress.
The students are reading the novel The Sign of the Beaver. The setting of the book is during the late 1700's in the Maine territory. The story deals with the relationship of two boys from two different cultures and how they learn to like and respect each other. The students took quiz one on Monday and will take quiz two on Friday. They may use their notes and the book during the test. Please look at the pink novel requirement sheet that your child has.
