Welcome Class of 2010!!
Monday Nov 2

Bowling Green University is now showing financial aid videos on their website www.bgsu.edu/offices/sfa
includes videos on how to complete the FAFSA, eligibility, loans, grants, Satisfactory Academic Progress etc.

Any senior interested in participating in Operation Christmas Child for some community service hours see me for a brochure.

A 3rd grader needs a tutor in math and reading. This would go toward your community service hours.

A correction about your yearbook and composite picture. Contact Fugett's for an appointment.  For $12. and up you can have your senior portrait taken for both yearbook and composite.

All seniors should place an order with Jostens for at least a cap and gown.

Seniors your chairpersons for committees are Song- Karen Wilson, Poem- Joey Jones, Flower/Color- Tabitha Kirby, Motto- Katie Fawley. Committees meet during activity period. If you have suggestions for these senior items you need to see the appropriate class officer. Any senior who has written a poem they wish to be considered needs to turn it in to Joey Jones by November 1st.

Pick up blank community service forms from the LMC and turn in your completed forms to Mrs. Lovin before April.

Mr. Cliff Lawson in the Junior High needs student workers for athletic events. Seniors this could help fulfill your community service. A sign up sheet is in the LMC. He usually only needs help through the end of February.

Re: Important senior information and dates
There are two mandatory senior meetings: one in September and one in April. There is one optional meeting in January. Pay special attention to dates; all students (campus, PSEO, Oaks, VLA) are required to attend mandatory meetings.  Seniors are welcome to attend the prom assembly the Friday of prom and pep rallies held for Football Homecoming and Basketball Homecoming.  Remember campus dress codes apply.
Senior information is shared here, on announcements at all campuses, and the web page (www.blanchester.k12.oh.us under District Information/ Senior Webpage). We do everything possible to keep you informed but you are responsible for getting information from the web page every Monday.
The senior class composite picture is sold by Fugett Photography. Fugett Photography is our official school photographer. Your senior picture for the yearbook and the composite ONLY must be taken through Fugett.  This is to ensure all deadlines and picture criteria are met. If students decide to have senior portraits taken at another studio (their choice to do so), Fugett Photography can be reached at 513.877.2287 to take a sitting picture for $16.
Mrs. DaShannon Lovin and Mrs. Debby Dunn are the senior advisors and may be contacted at the high school with questions.
