ATTENTION PARENTS: As part of the counseling plan of services, Solon Middle School has invited trained facilitators from MECCA (Mid-Eastern Council on Chemical Abuse) to come to the classroom to present the Life Skills curriculum to 6th and 7th grade students. Topics will include: substance abuse prevention, decision making, coping with stress and anxiety, social skills, peer pressure and conflict resolution. This will take place on Tuesdays during Language Arts class. Feel free to contact me if you prefer your child opt out of this program.
