PODS
Preparing, Organizing, and Developing Students for Success:
Parents and Students in Grades 5-8:
- Students are welcome on a voluntary basis, as long as you give them permission. Please use this slip and indicate those days your child will be attending on a regular basis. Students who do not usually attend may attend on a daily basis. Students who do not usually attend, may attend on a daily basis if you have written a permission slip.
- However, if a scheduled student does not attend, they must have a note accompanying them and given to the PODS teacher for that day.
- If a student who is required to attend PODS does not attend, they may not be excused without pre-arranged permission from the homeroom teacher and ONLY for medical appointments and emergencies. Otherwise, there are additional days that must be served as a consequence.
- All PODS students will not be dismissed until 4:30 PM. [Parents, may pick up PODS students between 4:15 and 4:30PM or students will be sent to ESC.]
- ALL PODS students will be allowed to purchase soda at 3:45 pm and may bring a snack to eat at that time.
- ALL PODS students may not leave the school building between dismissal and PODS.
- No fast food may be brought into PODS.
