Students:
Pick out good athletic shoes for PE. Running and cross training shoes are great for physical activity!
Parents:
Buy good shoes for your children and stay away from skateboard shoes or straight laced shoes. They help for skateboarding but offer little to anything else physical.
Motivate your children to exercise! It's up to you to play the part in your child's fitness. Show them by taking them hiking, biking, swimming, sledding, etc. Plan activities that focus on physical activity!
Improve your childrens' eating habits by stocking the refrigerator with healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. Involve them in food shopping and preparation for the inspiration of committing to healthy food choices!
Avoid too much time for television and video games. They promote a sedentary lifestyle and excessive snacking.
All Students:
Remember to bring your tennis shoes to class so you can participate safely!
