Library notes
We have a  reading incentive program this year. It is based on earning an ice cream scoop for every hour a student reads at home or is read too. The students name is written on a scoop and hung on the wall by the library. I am trying to see how large our ice cream cone can become. At the end of the year we will have an ice cream party to celebrate. There are  extra reading sheets on the web site for parents to sign off on.

I am encouraging parents to donate a book to the library in honor of their child's birthday. I will put a bookplate in the front of the book recognizing your child's donation. I am also accepting gently used books that your child might have out grown.

We will have Barnes and Noble day in November and The Scholastica book fair in January.
