*There is no school on Monday, May 25.
*Bring in a White T-Shirt for the next week of school for decorating. We also need decorating items like fabric pens, puffy paint and anything else you could use to decorate a t-shirt.
MATH- We will begin Chapter 13 on Ratio and Probability. we have one chapter left after this one and will begin chapter 14 on Tues., May 26.
Language Arts- Students will be working in their LA books reading a variety of stories about the American Revolution.
Comprehension- Author’s Viewpoint, Generalizations, and Topic, Main Idea and Supporting Details.
Grammar-We will work on all of unit 3 English skills.
Spelling- Final Spelling Test of the Year
Writing- End of the Year Letter.
Social Studies-We will begin chapter Nine on The Fight for Independence. Student short-term projects are due on Thursday, May 28.
This due date is one day earlier.
Science- Students will be presenting their ecosystems. A take home test for the unit will go home on Thursday, May 28. Tests are due back in class on Friday, May 29.
Religion- We will be reading about Dorothy Day next week and discussing the principles of Socials Justice.
ICE CREAM READING PARTY
We will be having an Ice Cream Reading Party june 1, and we are seeking donations for the Sundae. I will be providing the Ice Cream for the students but am seeking the following items: Spoons and whip cream.
