Parent Teacher Council Weekly Update - Week of 1/14/08
Tuesday, January 15, 2008 Special 4pm meeting,
Attendance for this weeks meeting was at an all time high. Thank you to all who attended especially the staff at Iroquois. It is a great asset to our school to have all the support. Mindy Ward from the district office came to our meeting to observe and offer her help. A very enthusiastic group of parents and teachers discussed Talent show, Silent Auction, and Fundraising including Market Day, cookie dough and Innisbrook. Donna Tworek our PTC President started two new committees and appointed chairs: Talent Show Committee chaired by Debra Spedale- Lang and Cultural Arts Committee chaired by Ellen Brannan. Robin Padar spoke for the Academic Enrichment Committee about the Reading Incentive Program. This is a new committee for the school this year. The Academic Enrichment Committee has put in time and effort to present a wonderful program for our school. Mr. Johnson addressed communication issues at the school with some possible resolutions. The teachers along with Mr. Johnson presented wish lists of items needed for the school.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser
On January 25th you will receive your order form to order your yummy, yummy cookies. Orders are due back on February 8th and will be ready for pick up on March 6th. The classroom to sell the most Dough will be handsomely rewarded!! Parents if you have multiple children please make sure to use one order form and include all of your children’s homeroom #’s.
