JUNIOR HIGH TEST AND PROJECT POLICY
The junior high teachers at St. Joseph School agree to schedule no more than two tests/projects on the same day for each grade. The term ‘projects’ refers to long-term assignments that span more than one week.
Homework is assigned on a regular basis. Some assignments are due the next day and are essential for daily classroom success. Other assignments are long-range in nature and require planned study time for their completion. Planned study eliminates the need to spend a lot of time completing the assignment the night before it is due. Parents are asked to check teachers’ websites regularly to make sure that students are keeping up with long-term assignments.
