Yes, this is an updated school notes! We are moving right along. We have almost gone through both the Reading and Math book. Everyone is doing so well that we are flying through them. After reading various versions of If You Give Mouse a Cookie, We have decided to make our own “If You Give,” book. After some brainstorming, Journaling, and voting we decided to go with If You Give a Cobra Coffee. Everyone participated in writing it and now we are working on the illustrations. I know it is going to be great and everyone will have a copy of their own (thanks to the Xerox machine). In math we have been working on 3 dimensional shapes. They all have been doing some excellent drawings. We have done the basic 6: cube, rectangular prism, cylinder, pyramid, cone, and sphere. They have incorporated the new drawing skill into their everyday art work. In science we have continued to focus on the Dinosaurs. This week we made Dinosaur claws. The “Animal of the Day” animals were the horseshoe crab and the cobra. “Fruit of the Week” was the Mango. Most of the children loved it. That's all for now.
Have Great Weekend,
