Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I put a summer suggestion packet, which Ms. Cupal had given me, in the children’s home folders. It has some suggestion and ideas that you could do with your child on different days in the summer.  Sometimes I can’t believe that we are talking about summer activities and that there are only 3 ½ days left.  Then I look at the children and see how much they have grown since the beginning of the year.  They are ready for first grade. Don’t forget just because school is out for the summer that doesn’t mean that learning should stop.  The library is a great place to go and I know there are a lot of summer programs.  The animal of the week was the sugar glider. The Word Girl words of the week were smash and identity. The Chinese word of the week word was xing qi wu, pronounced shing chee woo. It means Friday.

Have a Great Weekend,
-Mr. Pacini

Friday, June 5th last day for hot lunch

Mr. Pacini’s thought of the week

Most of you know by now that I am no longer going to teach Kindergarten, but I am still going be teaching at this great school.  I have requested a move up to 3rd grade.  I am very excited about this.  I truly enjoyed teaching kindergarten for the past 6 years.  They taught me so much, mostly patience, which is a very important lesson to learn when teaching any age.
