For the week of Oct. 14 we will be covering the following:
Grammar: This week will review writing complete sentences.
Spelling: We will review the words from Unit 1.
Reading: We will review the stories in Reading Book 1 and introduce new books.On Thursday, there will be a Unit 1 test covering the skills and strategies used for Book 1.
Handwriting: We will practice writing the upper and lower case letter "I".
Writing: We will be working in our journal to complete inmaginative sentences.
Math: We will begin counting on 1, 2, and 3. We will also begin counting doubles.
Religion: We will begin Unit 2 about God's love for His creation.
Science: We will learn about nocturnal animals such as raccoons, owls, and bats.
Social Studies: We will recognize citizenship skills.
Misc.: Faith Families meet after Mass on Wednesday. Please send pictures of your child's Baptism for our Religion Bulletin Board!
