Attention to the few, the chosen, the TALENTED!!!  Tryouts for the Jefferson Student Talent Show are coming up quickly.  The Tryouts are Thuesday, May 19th and Wednesday, May 20th from 3:00 until 5:15.  Forms for those students trying out are due to the office this coming Wednesday.

May 17th is a 5K Run/Walk at River Woods Elementary School in memory of a District 203 student.  Pick up a flier outside the main office so you can be apart of something special.

All 7th & 8th grade Cheerleaders should turn in their "Sizing Information" form to Mrs. Ducommun before the end of the day.

The 2nd Annual Hope Team Dodgeball Tourney for Diabetes Research will be held on Thursday MAY 21st (3-5:00.  Sign-ups: Thursday and Friday, May 14-15th at 7:30 AM, Jefferson Square.  Cost: $10.00 PER TEAM
Players: Up to 8 per team.

Computer Club meets today from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. in the Computer Lab.  Please see Mrs. Stec for more information.

Patriot’s Character will be meeting in the Computer Lab on Friday for our regularly scheduled meeting.  We will be sifting through pictures that have been taken throughout the school year.  We will be taking these pictures and enlarging them up for the hallways.  Hope to see you all there at 7:15am on Friday May 8th!

All LRC students books are due on Wednesday, May 20th.  The last day for student check out of any print materials is Tuesday, May 19th.  Students with outstanding materials and/or fines will not receive their yearbook until their accounts are settled.  Thank you in advance for your coooperation.

This evening the Jefferson Symphonic Band and 7th & 8th Grade Chorus will present a Concent at 7:30 in the Wood Gym.  Jefferson students and staff are invited to attend.

Everyone in the Chorus should report at 7:00 p.m. this evening for warm ups before the Concert.

Please help in the quest to return lost books to the LRC!  A list of lost items is posted in the library and any student who returns one of them will receive a fine exemption coupon and have his name entered in a prize drawing to be held on May 20th.

The Computer Club will meet on Thursday after school in the Computer Lab.

Chess & Game Club today from 3:10-4:30 in room 210.

Intramural Badminton begins tomorrow morning.  We start at 6:45 a.m. in the Wood Gym.  All 6th, 7th & 8th graders are welcome.

Naperville 203 and Edwards Hospital will co-sponsor Sports Physicals from May 21st thru June 1st.  More information can be found outside the main office.

Attention 8th graders going on the Washington, D.C. Trip!  Final room assignments are posted in Jefferson Square.  There will be a Final, Mandatory Meeting at Jefferson on Wednesday, May 27th  at 7:00.  This meeting is mandatory for all students going to Washington, D.C.  Make sure to talk with Mr. Rester if you have any questions.

Only a week left to work with your partner to audition for the Student Talent Show Emcee job!  All you need is some creativity, a partner, and the desire to entertain!  Emcee audition forms are available at the office and need to be completed and turned in by Thursday, May 7th.  So PLEASE go to the office and get your emcee audition form, fill it out, and turn it in by Thursday  The emcee auditions are on Monday, May 11th.

To all of you students out there with talent: Student Talent Show Act try-out forms are now available at the office.  The act forms are due back by Wednesday the 13th.  Try-outs are on Tuesday the 19th and Wednesday the 20th after school.

So let’s all get started on planning our dances, singing, and acts so we can make this year’s Talent Show the best ever!

The Talent Show Committee is always looking for faculty members who can volunteer to assist in the try-outs.  A sign-up sheet will be in the lounge.
