Any student interested in doing announcements next year needs to see their English teacher. Information on the process of giving announcements, when try-outs are and how you will be scored will be given to you at that time.
Attention Students: All books are due by Thursday at 3PM. If you would like to leave them in your English classroom, Mrs. Graves will pick up books from there.
The spring sports banquet will be this Sunday, May 11th at 5:00PM.
There will be a football meeting in the auditorium on Thursday morning at 8:00AM
Spring Pictures or money need to be returned to Mrs. Graves before 3 p.m. Friday. If you do not do this by Friday you will be charged the full amount of $42.00 for your pictures.
The Unity Boys Track and Field Team competed well last night at the News Gazette Honor Roll meet at the University of Illinois. Many athletes ran the best times of the year against the best athletes in the area. The 400 relay of Collin Friedemann, Chris Ault, Jake Cross, and John Humer finished 5th overall, Cody Roberts was third and Patrick Mannon was fifth in the high jump, John Wenzel was fifth in the pole vault, Chris Ault was fourth in the 300 intermediate hurdles, and the 1600 relay of John Humer, Heath Woodcock, Nate Cain, and Zebo Zebe was 7th.
The boys run at Tuscola for the IHSA Sectional on Friday.
Unity Rocket Boys Track and Field -
Practice after school for those competing in the Sectional Meet followed by our team cookout. There will be practice tomorrow, followed by the Elementary Track and Field Meet.
Remember, if you are not competing in the Sectional, you need to turn in your uniform and sweats to Coach Gateley. Finally, if you have not voted for the team awards, please stop by to see Coach Gateley to do so.
