Thank you for your cooperation on picture day. It was a smooth day because most of you were prepared with your packet in hand and a smile on your face. Thank you.
Girls Basketball tryouts are on Tues. Sept. 2nd and Wed. Sept. 3rd.
Tues: 7th grade 3:15 – 5:00
8th grade 5:00 – 6:30
Wed: 8th grade 3:15 – 4:30
7th grade 4:30 – 6:00
Tryouts will be held at the High School gym.
If you are interested in serving others, join the Pep Club. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 3rd in the library from 3:10 to 4:00. We will be working on signs for our hallways, so bring along colored pencils and markers. Also, we will be discussing various service projects to help our school become even better.
Please do not forget to pick-up your Rockette Dance clinic forms in the office. The clinic will be September 11 & 12.
Beginning September 3, Philo Presbyterian Church will be sponsoring a new after school program for all Junior High School students, grades 6-8. Meetings will be held at the R.E. Franks Center
In Philo on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30pm.
Our goal is to provide a safe, positive environment for students to congregate once per week. Registration is required as well as a monetary donation to ensure commitment and help purchase materials. A light snack will be served.
First Semester dates are as follows:
September 3, 17, 10, 24
October 1, 8, 15, 22 & Sunday26th
November 5, 12, 19
Students can stop by the office for more information.
