Dear Parents;
I can't believe how fast time is flying. Just the other day we were starting school. I hope everything is fine with your student and my class if not, please feel free to let me know. The first quarter is usually the toughest especially for the third grade. We are just getting to know each other. Right now we are gearing up for multiplication in math. So your student has the concept of addition and subtraction up to double digits. We are picking up on reading and comprehension. We have worked some on ISAT questions and what to expect from the test on reading. Next we will take a look at what math problems to prepare for. Science and Social Studies are flying by also. Please feel free to check in with me anytime about your student. I will continue to send home reports on their progress every week or two weeks. Thank you. Mrs. Sherman
