Welcome everyone to the final notes of this school year. We will be spending our week continuing Math lessons throughout the week. We’ll be participating in classroom games that review our Reading, English, and Grammar skills learned throughout this year.
Our writing this week will center around the topic of “What was the most important thing I learned about myself this year.” We’ll share our thoughts with classmates after we get them on paper.
We’ll clean out desks and tidy the room for the summer break. We’ll talk about our Second Grade memories of this year, wish each other well, and say our good-by’s for the long summer. We’ll pray for a safe summer, full of family, good friends, and fun! We’ll thank God for the blessings we received in this school year, for the learning that took place in and out of our classroom community. We’ll thank Him for his eternal love and care, His compassion and understanding, for the time He gave us to be together in this school year.
I want to thank each of you for being a partner in your child’s education this year. I will keep Ascension school and your children in my thoughts and prayers throughout the summer.
Thank you for your generosities and kindnesses you extended to me throughout this year. I will carry warm memories in my heart of Ascension school!
