I really enjoyed meeting everyone at the Open House
last week! Everyone seemed glad to be back in school,
even the children. Second Grade is such a special
and exciting year, especially with the Sacraments.
This will be our first full week of school.
The children will be having P.E. class on Mondays and
Thursdays. Please have your child bring gym clothes on
those days. Also please be sure to mark ALL gym shorts
and shirts to prevent any confusion.
We have been studying our first spelling unit since
last week. It is on words with id and ide, like hid
and hide. We will have our first spelling test on
Wednesday, August 27.
We will be having homework on Monday through Thursday.
Please check your child's HOME FOLDER for these assign-
ments. The folder will be brought home daily.
