Latin – October 27, 28, 30 and 31, 2008
Important Dates:
-- October 27, 2008 – gods and goddesses chart is due. The students have had this assignment for a week and a half.
-- October 29, 2008 – weather report in English and with a much of it translated into Latin as the students can do. I will when correct/add the proper Latin to the weather report. The students will then present the weather in Latin. I told the students that this would be one of their major projects for the second quarter. The weather is to be made up. I am interested in seeing what kind of creative weathermen/women they are. This weather report will be due on November 7, 2008.
-- November 7, 2008 -- Weather Presentations
We have started translating the story about Claudius's family. I believe that the students are surprised at how much they can translate.
