We're in the home stretch of the school year. Of course, the kids are very excited, which has led to some very "interesting" behavior this week. Please remind your child to be respectful of everyone as we go through this last week. We have had problems with name-calling, teasing, inappropriate language, hitting -- you name it, I think, because excitement is clouding good judgment. It would be a shame to end a good year in a negative way.
Thanks to all for your help and support this year. I wouldn't be able to do what I do without the great parents we have at Ascension. You make it easier for me to help the children grow.
I feel this group is ready to go on. But, please, have your child read and practice those times tables over the summer. It is crucial to success next year.
Have a great, safe, summer!
