We are heading to the last few weeks of the school year and therer is lot we still need to do before we all have a well deserved break.  This year has flown by.  We are rapidly getting ready for the school picnic/ parade.  This year we are trying to focus on the good things of our environment and protecting the earth by encouraging everyone to "Go Green".   The kindergarten class will bring us penguins and snowflakes to represent winter, first grade will put a spring in our step with flowers and butterflies for spring, second grade will brighten our day by bringing the sun for summer, third grade will scare us with their scarecrows for the fall.  As we leave the four seasons, the fourth grade will remind us of the gifts from the water,  while fifth grade celebrates the rainforests.  Sixth grade will fous our attention on birds (loons) .  Seventh grade will share the creativity with cartoon signs encouraging us to think of our impact on the environment.  Eighth will carry posters and become the Green Team.
I would like to invite any 2nd graders who have sunglasses to bring them to wear during the parade.  3rd graders if you have a straw hat to wear during the parade that would be great and the 8th graders please wear a green shirt just for the parade if you can.
Thank you  and God bless you all.  Have a great day!
